Are you looking for a course to learn about legal requirements regarding food safety? Do you want to know what the NVWA checks when they inspect your company? In this 1-day HACCP Course we will provide you with all the information and tools to serve food safely and you'll learn how to prevent fines in case of a NVWA check!
During the course, which takes place from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm, you will learn everything the Dutch Code of Hygiene stands for. All employees who prepare, transport and / or serve food are obligated to work according to the Code of Hygiene, which is part of the Dutch law (called the 'Warenwet'). After taking this course you know exactly what your work-related responsibilities are, how to take care of food safety and how to fill out the registration forms.
At the end of the course you will take the HACCP Test. This test contains 30 multiple choice questions and takes 30 minutes. When you pass the test, you will receive the HACCP Certificate directly at the course location. This certificate proves you have succesfully participated in the course and know all about food safety, as you are obligated to by Dutch law.
Once we have received your application, it will be processed immediately on working days (till 5:00 pm). By post we will send you the invitation letter, accompanied with the course book 'Code of Hygiene for the hotel and catering industry' (in Dutch this is called: 'Hygiënecode voor de Horeca'). This Code of Hygiene is approved by the NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority). Every organisation that prepares and / or sells food must work according to a HACCP plan or an approved code of hygiene. One of the requirements is that every employee has followed a training or instruction in the area of food safety. Following this HACCP Course is therefore an ideal way to quickly comply with this legal requirement!
For entrepreneurs, supervisors and employees working in the hospitality industry or in the catering business. When working in any other organisation where food is being served to guests (like a community centre, health care institution or sports association) you will need this Food Safety knowledge as well.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
